    There is an International Manchester Triage conference each year.  In alternate years, this is held in the UK and in other years it is hosted by a member of the International Reference Group.

    In 2018 the conference was hosted by our Portuguese group, further information can be found here.

    In 2019 the conference is in Manchester, UK on 17th & 18th October 2019.  Day one is for International Reference Group and Advisory Group members only and day two is open to all delegates.  Further details can be found below.

    Janet MarsdenProfessor Janet Marsden was one of the founders of the highly acclaimed Manchester Triage System (MTS) which this year celebrates 25 years since its inception and launch.  Sadly Janet passed away last year, aged just 57 years old.

    In recognition of her work and commitment to the MTS, we are pleased to launch the Janet Marsden Research Bursary in acknowledgement of her contribution and this award is now officially open.

    The winning submission will be announced at the International Triage Conference taking place on 18 October 2019 at the Manchester Conference Centre.

      Public Transport

      Manchester Piccadilly train station is a short walk from the venue. Full details of how to get to the Manchester Conference Centre can be found on their website here.

      Car parking

      The cost of parking will be covered by delegates and located next to the venue, on Charles Street, is an affordable multi-storey car park which costs £10 for 24 hours.

      If approaching the Conference Centre from the Mancunian way – drive past the entrance to the Conference Centre and take the first left down Charles Street, the car park entrance will be on your right.

      If approaching from Sackville Street – drive to the end of the road and follow Sackville Street on to Charles Street, the car park entrance will be on your right.

      (Please note that the entrance to the Conference Centre is on a one-way street and by car can only be reached via the Mancunian way.)
